This piece was about experimenting with new ways to make. I was assigned to create three "mistakes" by trying new techniques without fear of the outcome. I had incorporated seashells in all of the failure pieces, but I wanted this piece to rely on them heavily. I enjoyed playing with the different textures and switching between 2D and 3D, but there was no fundamental research behind this piece. I mainly just used instincts and what I thought could be interesting.
